Getting started
There is no monthly platform fee. You pay for the products you order — a DTG printed Gildan 5000 starts at $5.99 — plus shipping. One print location is included in the product price.
No. Nothing is produced until an order comes in. You upload artwork, create the product, and we print it when somebody buys it.
No minimum for print-on-demand — a single unit is a real order. Contract printing and bulk runs are quoted separately, where volume is the whole point.
Create the product in your account, then place a manual order for it from the Orders section. Email customer service and they will apply a 25% sample discount on one item per month.
Yes. Production runs from our two US facilities — Edison, New Jersey and Grand Prairie, Texas — and we ship worldwide. Transit times outside the US vary by destination and carrier.
Stores and integrations
Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce. Amazon, eBay and TikTok Shop are described by US Print Factory as in progress — they are not available yet, and we won't list them as if they were.
No. You keep your storefront, your listings, your customers and your reviews. Connecting us changes where the order is printed, not where it is sold.
Etsy has its own rules about declaring production partners and about what counts as personalised or made-to-order. Those rules are Etsy's, they change, and they are enforced against your shop rather than against us — so read Etsy's current seller policy before you scale, and ask us if you're unsure how we fit into it.
Yes. There is a hold feature for exactly this: turn on automatic order hold, and orders wait until you have placed the customer's artwork and released them. It is intended for things like a photo or a name added after purchase.
Printing and artwork
Direct-to-garment (DTG). Ink is printed straight into the fabric, which suits detailed, full-colour artwork and short runs far better than screen printing does.
Not today. US Print Factory has described both as future capability. Anything we print for you right now is DTG.
A PNG at least 2400px wide, ideally 300 DPI, with the empty space around the artwork trimmed. Transparent or solid backgrounds both work. Files under 2400px wide are rejected by the app rather than printed badly.
Yes. Any one print location — front, back, neck label or sleeve — is included in the product price. Additional locations are priced separately: $4.99 for an extra front or back print, $3.50 for a sleeve, $1.99 for a neck label. These are subject to change.
Ask. We can't promise a given garment before we've looked at whether we can source it consistently and print it well, so tell us the brand, the style number and roughly what volume you expect, and we'll give you a straight answer.
Shipping and turnaround
Expected production time is 24–48 hours before the order leaves us. Standard delivery inside the United States typically runs about 5 to 10 days after that. Both are estimates, not guarantees, and peak season moves them.
Depending on the product and destination: USPS, UPS Ground, UPS Mail Innovations or DHL. Tracking is sent back to your store once the shipping label is generated — carrier scans can take 12–24 hours to appear after that.
You don't have to use your own. Returns can come back to our warehouse at 125 Newfield Ave, Suite D, Edison NJ 08837.
Custom packaging is handled case by case rather than as a standard option. Tell us what you have in mind and what volume it applies to, and we'll tell you whether it's something we can run.
Quality, returns and care
If we sent the wrong product, the wrong size or a bad graphic, we refund or replace it once the issue is confirmed as ours. US customers have up to 30 days from the ship date and international customers up to 60 days. Send the customer's name and email, the order number, a photo of what arrived, and what needs correcting.
Once tracking shows delivered we can't reship at our cost. In practice the package is usually with a neighbour, at a side door, or traceable through the local post office — it's worth checking quickly. If you want to reship anyway, you can place a replacement order.
Those are yours to handle. We don't offer exchanges or refunds for sizing regret or second thoughts, and we'd rather say so plainly than bury it.
Wash inside out in cold water, avoid bleach, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Don't iron directly onto the print. This is general DTG guidance — always follow the garment manufacturer's own care label, which varies by blank.
US Print Factory reports that roughly 2.5% of produced garments are rejected by internal quality control and reprinted rather than shipped. That figure is self-reported and has not been independently verified.
Not sure which option fits?
Talk to a human before you commit to anything.
Still the fastest way to find out?
Create an account and run a sample order through. It costs you one garment.
